The Power of Grouped Artworks, Designed for Harmony
Made to Group Beautifully
Every ART1 size is chosen with purpose. The square and rectangular formats are proportioned so they align seamlessly when hung together, creating a unified visual presence without needing one oversized piece.
This gives you more impact with greater flexibility.
Common Alignment Heights
60 cm works - vertical, horizontal, or square
(60 × 90 cm · 90 × 60 cm · 90 × 90 cm · 60 × 60 cm)
67.5 cm works - vertical, horizontal, or square
(67.5 × 90 cm · 90 × 67.5 cm · 67.5 × 67.5 cm)
90 cm works - vertical, horizontal, or square
(90 × 60 cm · 60 × 90 cm · 67.5 × 90 cm · 90 × 67.5 cm · 90 × 90 cm)
These sizes share compatible edges, so whether you place artworks side-by-side or build upward into a gallery wall, the grouping feels intentional and expertly curated.
This approach offers:
- Cost-effective scale → a big presence created by multiple pieces
- Evolving walls → start with one, expand over time
- Design confidence → everything belongs together
- Personal storytelling → your space expresses who you are
Instead of “one big artwork,” think:
One big statement, made by many.
This is art designed to empower you,
a modular system that gives you the freedom to curate with confidence.

Smart Sizing. Smarter Styling.
Most ART1 prints share the same framed edge heights:
60 cm (74 cm framed) · 67.5 cm (81.5 cm framed) · 90 cm (104 cm framed)
→ That means perfect alignment in pairs, trios, and grids.
Consistency designed for collectors.

General
Art transforms space, so start by deciding which wall or area you want to bring to life. Is it a focal point in your living room, a quiet presence in a hallway, or a statement at the entry?
First and most importantly, measure the space. Know what size space and the proportions it will hold on your wall.
Quick Tip
Mark up the space you want to visually occupy with an artwork by using non-destructive tap to place right-angle pieces in each corner. No need to cut out paper or use long strips of tape, and simply mark up the corners. This will give you a very quick and easy visual of the space you wish to fill with artwork.
Take out your tape measure and measure the Height and width, and make a note of it in your phone. This way, when you are looking either in person or online, you have the details readily available. And a snapshot of the space is always great too.
Location
Where is your artwork going to be placed in your space?
Think about what energy you want the artwork to hold, calm, uplifting, dramatic, or reflective. This guides both placement and theme before you even look at colour or size.
- Entrance to your home
- Entry Feature Wall, above a console table
- Entry hallway long narrow and close viewing zone

Even changing one element can have impact
Lounge Room
- Lounge room - above the lounge (2, 3 or 4 seater, L-shape)
- Feature Wall free from other elements
- Feature Wall above a Table, Bookcase, Buffet
- Space above or around the TV
- Colour palette of the space and soft furnishing or other key colour elements
- Atmosphere and mood you want to create

Dining Room
- Free Wall space with no obstructions
- Size of the dining table and chairs - seating for 4, 6, 8 or more people
- Proximity of the artwork to the table
Other Spaces
Under stairs, Bedrooms, Stairways, Office, Family room, etc

Colour
Colour palette of the space and soft furnishing, or other key colour elements?
Atmosphere and mood you want to create?
Consider the dialogue between your artwork and the surrounding tones: wall paint, flooring, soft furnishings, and natural light.
- Complementary hues bring harmony.
- Contrasting palettes bring vibrancy.
- Neutral environments love a bold artwork; colourful rooms often need a visual pause.
Other elements to consider and note:
Lighting, wall texture, and sight lines all influence how art feels once installed.
- Obstruction elements, like Power points and switches, are they in the way of installing the artwork safely?
- Visual line of sight elements, such as Drapes, Blinds, Lamps, Vase of Flowers and Statues
- Align with furniture height, not ceiling height.
- Direct prolonged harsh sunlight or filtered indirect soft light
- Remember breathing space, not every wall needs to be filled.
- Framed: adds formality, edge, and definition, great for traditional or architectural spaces.
- Unframed (Print-Roll-Send): offers modern simplicity, flexibility, and aligns with ART1’s sustainable model.
